Please thoughtfully consider your income and financial flexibility, the value this service provides for you, and your ability to support fair pricing for your fellow community members when choosing the tier you feel is most appropriate. Proof of income is not required, and tier designation is based on self advocacy following the provided guidance detailed in each tier and further explained in the image below.
Note: I charge a flat fee for services (within clients selected tier), although ongoing sessions are typically 60 minutes, sessions that last less than 60 minutes will be charged the same fee.
What is my pricing model based on?
I recognize that therapy has been a service that is not accessible for many, and I believe affirming, attuned, and uniquely tailored services should be accessible to all clients. Due to systemic issues within the field, there are many behind- the-scenes barriers to services being financially accessible for many clients.
In an effort to balance making specialized therapeutic services more accessible, while not panelling with insurance and still fairly pricing my services based on market rates and areas of specialization, I utilize a tiered fee system based on the Green Bottle Method by Alexis J. Cunningfolk (Image attached and can be found at the bottom of this page). This allows more access to clients who would otherwise be unable to access services, while allowing clients with more financial flexibility to support their local communities.
